Two lakes lie side by side and refresh each other. The wise person joins with friends to talk and learn together.

What does The Joyous mean?

With the sparkle of its still water, the lake is a symbol of joy and openness. When two lakes lie together, they feed each other and do not dry up. This sign likewise speaks of a joy that grows as it is shared. A smiling face, honest conversation, and learning with friends are the best nourishment of this time. You can influence people not by force but through sincere warmth. Around a cheerful person, others relax, open up, and talk more easily. What you could never get done with a harsh order, you can achieve with a sincere smile and a warm word.

But there is a difference between real joy and shallow pleasure. Real joy is born from inner balance, integrity, and good relationships. Flattery from outside, fleeting fun, or temptations that pull you away from yourself end quickly and leave emptiness behind. That is why the ancient text asks that joy be joined with what is right. What is asked of you is to keep your joy without losing your sense of measure. Choose not what pleases you but what truly nourishes you. Build open and honest bonds with people. Laughing together, thinking together, and learning from one another is the most valuable thing you have right now.

What to do now

Choose the joy that truly nourishes you, not the passing pleasure.

Love and relationships

Joy, flirtation, and a pleasant closeness come to the fore in your relationship. As long as you are sincere, this joy deepens your bond. Be wary of words said only to sound nice and of shallow charms.

Work and money

This is a good time for communication, sales, teaching, and work that involves people. A friendly face and open talk open doors. Do not be taken in by promises of easy gain.

The lines

If a line changed (red) in your reading, read only that line. Lines are counted from the bottom up.

  1. First line

A peaceful joy within yourself. This contentment, felt without expecting anything from outside, brings good fortune.

  2. Second line

Joy that comes from within. Your honesty protects you from the wrong kinds of fun. Regret fades and good fortune comes.

  3. Third line

Joy summoned from outside. Seeking pleasure outside yourself and yielding to every temptation brings misfortune.

  4. Fourth line

The one who keeps weighing which joy to choose finds no peace. Real joy comes when you leave lower desires behind and choose what is right.

  5. Fifth line

Trusting influences that quietly rot you from within is dangerous. Your good intentions may be exploited. Stay alert.

  6. Top line

Seductive joy. Giving yourself over to a lure from outside leads you off your course.
