Clouds rise up to the sky; this is the picture of waiting. The wise person eats, drinks and stays cheerful and at ease.
What does Waiting mean?
Water lies ahead, heaven behind. The strength is ready, but a danger or an obstacle stands in front of it. The clouds have gathered and rain will come soon, but not yet. You are waiting for news, a result or an opportunity, and you cannot speed this waiting up. It is natural to feel restless. While we wait, time seems to stand still, yet events keep ripening somewhere out of sight.
Waiting does not mean sitting idle. Real waiting is trusting what is to come and keeping yourself ready until then. Writhing with worry or attacking the obstacle out of impatience drains your strength. Instead, carry on with your daily tasks, eat well, sleep well and keep your heart at ease. Seeing the situation as it is also belongs to waiting; notice what is coming without fooling yourself. When the time is right you will need to take a big step, like crossing the great river. When that moment comes, you should be fresh, not worn out. Patience here is not weakness but the choice of the strong. Tie your waiting to the trust inside you, not to the situation outside. Even if you do not know what will happen, knowing that you are ready is enough to settle your worry.
What to do now
Do not grow impatient; prepare and let the time arrive.
Love and relationships
The time is not yet ripe for a decision or a breakthrough in the relationship. Instead of forcing it, feed the bond with small daily moments. Trust your partner and give them time too.
Work and money
You are waiting for an approval, a payment or a result. Use this time for preparation, but do not make an early move. A hasty investment can cost you in this period.
