Difficulty at the Beginning shows a seed pushing through hard ground. Sort out the chaos step by step, find good helpers and do not give up halfway.

Judgment

Difficulty at the beginning opens onto great success if you persevere. For now, do not rush toward a goal. It is favorable to appoint helpers and gather the right people around you.

Image

Clouds and thunder come together; this is the picture of a difficult beginning. In the middle of this confusion, the wise person separates the threads and creates order.

What does Difficulty at the Beginning mean?

Water is above, thunder below. The storm has started, but the rain has not yet fallen. A seed is trying to break through the soil. A new job, a new relationship or a new chapter of your life is beginning, and like every beginning it is messy, uncertain and tiring. The outcome is not fully visible yet, and the pieces have not settled into place. At times like this it is easy to feel overwhelmed and want to drop everything. But confusion is the raw material of a new order.

This turmoil is not a bad sign. It is the natural state of growth. Rushing, though, only tangles things further. First get to know the situation, separate one thing from another and build a small order. Do not try to solve everything alone; find people you can trust and share the work with them. Keep your resolve, but move forward without forcing. With time the storm turns into rain, the soil softens, and what you started takes root. What matters now is not losing your direction and not giving up halfway. When weaving cloth, you first separate the threads and then lay them in one by one. That is your task too: to sort patiently and weave in order.

What to do now

Do not try to solve it all at once; untie one knot first.

Love and relationships

A new relationship or a new phase may begin with awkwardness and hesitation. Do not make promises right away; give yourselves time to get to know each other. An old bond may come back to life after a long gap.

Work and money

A new project or venture is going through growing pains. Lay the groundwork before making large investments, and choose your partners carefully. Do not hesitate to ask for help.

The lines

If a line changed (red) in your reading, read only that line. Lines are counted from the bottom up.

  1. First line

There is hesitation and obstruction. It is right to stay where you are, persevere and bring helpers to your side.

  2. Second line

Difficulties pile up, and the horse and wagon part ways. The one approaching is not a robber but a suitor; still, the young woman does not give her promise until ten years have passed. Do not hurry; the right time will come.

  3. Third line

Whoever hunts deer without a guide gets lost in the forest. The wise person reads the signs and gives up; pressing on brings shame.

  4. Fourth line

Horse and wagon are apart, but union is sought. Going toward the one who offers help is good; this step makes everything easier.

  5. Fifth line

There are obstacles in front of the blessing. Perseverance in small matters brings good fortune; forcing great matters brings misfortune.

  6. Top line

Horse and wagon are apart, and tears of blood flow. If you surrender to helplessness in the face of hardship, the pain lasts longer; do not stay in this state.
