Image

Heaven above, the lake below; this is the picture of treading carefully. The wise person tells high from low and steadies the minds of the people.

What does Treading mean?

The strong is above, the cheerful and gentle below. The weaker walks behind the stronger and steps on it. This can mean you are facing someone more powerful than you, a rigid system or a risky situation. The tiger is dangerous, but if you behave rightly it will not bite you. Situations like this make you uneasy. A wrong word or a careless move can change everything.

The secret of success here lies in conduct. Courtesy, simplicity and measure protect you. If you act rudely, arrogantly or thoughtlessly, the tiger turns and bites. See your own place and the other person's place clearly. This does not mean bowing down; it means being respectful and careful while keeping your own values. Do not underestimate the situation, but do not freeze with fear either. Take your step calmly and surely. Plain behavior is safer than fancy words. If you weigh each step carefully, you pass along this hard road unharmed and earn respect in the end. Respect for rules and customs works like a shield in this period. Know where to stand still and where to speak. Good conduct opens even the hardest door.

What to do now

Step calmly, be courteous and look down on no one.

Love and relationships

You are in a relationship with a sensitive person or in a tense atmosphere. Watch your words and your tone, and respect your partner's boundaries. With tact and patience the bond grows stronger.

Work and money

You are facing a difficult manager, a strong competitor or a risky deal. Be polite but clear, follow the rules and keep a record of every step. Do not overrate yourself or go beyond your authority.

The lines

If a line changed (red) in your reading, read only that line. Lines are counted from the bottom up.

  1. First line

Walking with simple conduct. If you move forward without show, as yourself, there is no blame.

  2. Second line

Walking on a level, easy road. The perseverance of one who stays calm within and keeps away from the crowd brings good fortune.

  3. Third line

The one-eyed man thinks he can see, the lame man thinks he can walk; he treads on the tiger's tail and the tiger bites. Going beyond your strength brings disaster.

  4. Fourth line

You tread on the tiger's tail. If you are cautious and careful, good fortune comes in the end.

  5. Fifth line

Resolute treading. Hold to what is right, but stay aware of the danger.

  6. Top line

Look at the road you have walked and at your conduct, and weigh the signs. If everything has been carried through fully, great good fortune follows.
